Being a Coach & Competitive Athlete I've been involved in sports all my life, that along with playing Baseball at the Collegiate level has taught me many things. Dedication and preparation are key to reaching one's goals. The goals I have reached & the goals I am currently pursuing lead me to believe focusing on progression is the key. Progression keys are Creating a base, a starting point, and having a desire of always striving to improve. Whether you're a young athlete, a college athlete, or just looking to improve your fitness level I look forward to promoting having fun, working Hard and dedication in reaching one's goals!

Functional progression is different for everyone. Each athlete has unique strengths and weaknesses. Building on strengths and working on weaknesses will bring great results in my program My training goes through different phases of stability & balance, to overall strength & strength of movements (particular to sport), to a phase of power. Functional training helps reduce injuries while building that great base to keep improving! Training, however, is more than just the latest research and principles.

I dedicate myself to motivating people to not only excel as athletes, but to realize their potential and develop the skills they'll need to succeed not only in Sports but in life; skills such as discipline, confidence, preparation, attitude, self-motivation and leadership.

Complete Athlete has a great forum in which young Athlete's can be reached in every sport and gender. I am excited to be selected to Lead the Training department team and I look forward to helping you achieve your goal's.

The QB Tutor: Preparing QBs for GAME TIME!
The QB Tutor

The QB Tutor is an opportunity for young quarterbacks, entering grades 3 through 12, to intensely focus and train specifically for the position.

The focus of the Tutor, Richard Popp Jr., is on the students´ mechanics and leadership skills. Coach Popp understands that when a QB is prepared mechanically, and has strong leadership skills, he can perform at the top of his athletic ability.

The Tutor will run small group sessions, two to six QBs only, in order to have ample one on one time with each student. It is imperative that each QB know that this training is very focused and limited to those who truly want to commit and accept the challenge of playing quarterback.
